On Saturday June 28, 2008, one of my students, Timothy
Amorim fought a Muay Thai match. He lost but they guy he was
supposed to fight backed out the same day of the fight and
there was another fighter who has 3 years of experience
while Tim only has 4 month. We still took the fight and Tim
did a great job not only staying in the fight but giving his
opponent the fight of his life. After the fight was over,
his opponents trainer, who was also the promoter, took the
microphone and congratulated Tim on a brave and excellent
performance for a kid who has only been training 4 month and
giving that kind of a fight to a 3 year experience fighter.
"He made me proud".
